We are here to support all victims of domestic violence.

  • Call us to speak with a bilingual (English/Spanish) counselor: 718-302-4073
  • Email us to schedule a time to speak to a counselor help@northbrooklyncoalition.org
  • You are not alone, our counselors are here for you and will be able to provide you with information, resources and discuss your safety plan.
  • You can reach us Monday – Friday, from 10am – 6pm. If you call us after hours you will be connected to a 24 hour hotline or will be able to leave us a message.
  • EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE – If you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or get to your nearest police station.

Abuse is not only physical, and anyone can be a victim.

  • Does your partner ever: 
    • criticize you, call you names or humiliate you?
    • threaten to destroy your property or harm your pet?
    • shove you, grab you, choke you or threaten you?
    • constantly supervise you, check your phone, or control who you can spend time with?
    • force you to have sex or refuse to use protection?
  • If you answer yes to any of these questions, you may be experiencing abuse, but you are not alone.

Sexual violence can take many forms and includes non-consensual sexual encounters or attempts and unwanted sexual contact or threats, and can be inflicted on both adults and children.

  • Experiencing sexual violence can leave a victim feeling confused and unsure of what happened and wondering if their experience was assault or abuse.
